A action comedy movie by Luc Besson about a hired gun that develops a weird friendship with an orphaned teenager and teaches her to kill. There are a lot of movies with this plot, but this one is funny while not trying to be a pure comedy. It has action, but there's also drama. Definitely one of his best films.

What it's about
Léon, the top hit man in New York, has earned a rep as an effective "cleaner". But when his next-door neighbors are wiped out by a loose-cannon DEA agent, he becomes the unwilling custodian of 12-year-old Mathilda. Before long, Mathilda's thoughts turn to revenge, and she considers following in Léon's footsteps.
