An original comedy where a man unwittingly is the main character of a live tv show. It's a comedy with a point: reality might not be what we think it is. As the director of the show says when asked why Truman, in his 30s, has never discovered the true nature of his world: 'We accept the reality of the world with which we're presented.' This movie could probably get you more interested in philosophy than many dry, dusty volumes.
