A psycho thriller where an FBI agent teams up with a serial killer to hunt another serial killer. Likely the most influential serial killer film after 'Psycho', it popularized a villain so dangerous that he is transported in restraints, including a 'mouth muzzle'. Also the idea of a 'Quid pro Quo', as the antagonist says in the movie, where the two 'opposing' parties who are temporarily collaborating, need to do something in exchange for help.

What it's about
Clarice Starling is a top student at the FBI's training academy. Jack Crawford wants Clarice to interview Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant psychiatrist who is also a violent psychopath, serving life behind bars for various acts of murder and cannibalism. Crawford believes that Lecter may have insight into a case and that Starling, as an attractive young woman, may be just the bait to draw him out.
