A superhero action movie about a batman-like superhero with more oriental training. The Shadow comics started in 1931, before Batman, who first appeared on a comic in 1939. I only mention this because The Shadow is a rich man who attends fancy parties and fights evil in his spare time, using his riches. Sound familiar? The plot itself is the generic superhero plot where an evil guy threatens the world, so there's nothing interesting there. Though it feels more charismatic and less cringy than Batman, maybe because it hasn't become a cringy pop icon like Batman.

What it's about
Based on the 1930s comic strip, The Shadow is put up against his archenemy Shiwan Khan, who plans to take over the world by holding a city to ransom using an atom bomb. Using his powers of invisibility and "the power to cloud men's minds", The Shadow comes blazing to the rescue with explosive results.
