The Purge
Meh2/4 · Mediocre. Watchable if it is already on, but I would not go looking for it.
A thriller about a family that is attacked during the annual 'purge', when there is no law. The premise is good. The film is not. It's not scary, thrilling or interesting. It's just people in the house who are going to be raided. Instead of a movie developing the idea of having one night a year when people can decide whether to go hunting or to stay home, you get a sloppy, unscary 'terror' movie. A shame.
