Meh2/4 · Mediocre. Watchable if it is already on, but I would not go looking for it.
A rather long tragic drama to say 'war is bad, and there are cowards who take advantage of it'. The love story is kind of forced, the only thing that saves it is that the two people in love recognize that it doesn't make much sense. Not cathartic at all.

What it's about
In this classic story of love and devotion set against the backdrop of the American Civil War, a wounded Confederate soldier named W.P.
