Meh2/4 · Mediocre. Watchable if it is already on, but I would not go looking for it.
A cyberpunk tragedy where human-like artificial intelligences are commonplace. Was highly influential in culture specially for its cyberpunk and 'Neo-Tokyo' aesthetics, the use of rain to set the mood and humanlike AI. Sadly, it's slow and dragged-out. It tries to build toward a cathartic ending but fails because there's not enough character development of the villain. It was original for its time, but it's not a good movie.
